What’s not to love about High Intensity Interval Training? Our sessions combine intervals of high-intensity strength exercise with rest intervals. HIIT is considered to be more effective due to its high intensity, which increases your endurance while burning fat.
Our classes combine strength training and HIIT exercises to create the ultimate fast-paced workout. These small group training classes will progressively increase your fitness levels over time – expect changes in your body and to be challenged!

I became a Planet Fitness member and saw a PowerCamp class in progress, and I thought to myself “I want to be a part of that”. I have been a gym goer for a long time but I have never really felt overly “fit”. Since joining PowerCamp and doing functional training I have become faster, stronger, more flexible and my cardiovascular endurance has increased dramatically; thanks to the mixture of weightlifting, cardiovascular and gymnastic training. Not only has it made me a better athlete but the support and motivation everyone displays makes for an amazing community, and I want to share that with everyone.
My passion for functional training is evident in how I talk about it all the time, I love the results I’ve achieved and how I feel. I have learnt so much since starting PowerCamp and achieved things I never thought possible. PowerCamp not only inspired me but was the final push to get my Functional Training Coaching qualification, an industry I’ve always inspired to be part of.
I believe that functional training is one of the best ways of training your body. After doing my strength and conditioning course I gained further knowledge and understanding of technique, training variables and programming skills also to help cater the exercises for everyone. I want to provide a safe environment and get real results for each individual!
Qualifications: Cert lll and lV in Fitness, First aid Certificate.
Interests: Fitness, soccer & water sports.
What has been your proudest moment as a trainer? When I finally convinced a friend (who hated the gym) to try PowerCamp and still after four months is attending 5 days a week, and admits she is addicted!
What inspires you? To see members of all ages, shapes and sizes coming in and giving PowerCamp a go, and saying at the end, “they never thought they could do it”.
Qualifications: Cert lll and lV in Fitness, Played professional Rugby League in Australia & UK, Trained with world champion boxers.
Interests: All sports and good food!
What has been your proudest moment as a trainer?
Training a 60 something Jim Finnie and turning him into a national 10km cross country champion!
What inspires you? My family.
I’ve always wanted to have good muscular strength but also cardio fitness for sport. PowerCamp offers this balance, and this is why I became a PowerCamp Coach in addition to my regular work as a Personal Trainer, to help individuals reach new goals. I am passionate about functional training.
Qualifications: Cert III & Cert IV in Fitness (PT Academy), Certified Bootcamp Trainer (Motivate to Train), Les Mills Body Pump Trainer, Figure Competitor & Elite Health Supplements Sponsored Athlete, Massage therapist- specialising in sports & Swedish massage (Australian institute of Fitness).
Specialisation: Competition preparation, strength & fitness endurance, muscle toning for weight loss, functional fitness for everyday life.
Best Achievement: Firstly in training myself to compete in my first bodybuilding show in 2013, where I placed 2nd and being sponsored by EHS.
I aim to help my clients to find their strength and will, I want each person walking away stronger with a clearer vision of themselves and where they want to be.
Inspiration: Our bodies were designed to adapt and survive, it has been used to hunt, plant fields, taught to fight and defend. What I believe is that the body and mind is powerful beyond measure, and we should not go through life not knowing what you’re capable of.
